RONSTARS - Childrens
Singing Groups
NEW Group for children starting AUTUMN TERM 1 in 2022 aimed at children ages 7 to 13.
Children 14+ are invited to join RONSTARS adults& mixed age group either when accompanied with another adult or at the discretion of the MD.

Children ages 3 to 6 - Little Ronstars - No current availability but please register your interest here. Please include the age of your child.

ABOUT THE CHILDRENS GROUP
The Children's rehearsals will be about having fun singing, developing singing skills, making friends and building confidence performing through this fun weekly activity.
Weekly singing activities include:

Fun warm ups & singing games

Guidance developing vocal techniques and performance skills

Building confidence singing as a part of a group and singing solo for those who feel comfortable as appropriate to each individual.

Introduction to singing with harmonies where appropriate

Opportunities to take part in performance recordings to treasure

Opportunities to sing live at performances with other singers at RONNI

MEMBERSHIP
​
ONCE MEMBERSHIP HAS BEEN APPROVED AND A GROUP ASSIGNED - MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES:

Weekly rehearsals in-person (3 terms X 11 or 12 weeks / 38 sessions provided over 3 terms)

Group place reserved ongoing in the most appropriate group as is deemed best for the individual child at that time.

Access to RONSTARS online members area for children's resources as needed.

Access to RONSTARS shared digital singing folder for children (some children may prefer to bring their own folders and use paper lyrics or learn by listen and repeat)

Access to their own personal digital singing lyrics folder if and when it is needed.

Opportunities to perform live with other singers at RONNI
-
Opportunities to be a part of recording performances with RONNI

Option to switch to online rehearsals via Zoom when needed.

Ronstars membership Fees also contribute towards rehearsal room hire, your musical directors time, the creation of unique musical song arrangements, the maintenance and upkeep of musical resources, fees for the online space to provide the resources & digital singing folders. The upkeep of social media groups, professional subscriptions, insurance, publicity & other administrative costs associated with the running of Ronstars. Fully enhanced DBS checks kept up-to-date for Ronni Bailey and wardrobe assistant for performance fittings.

If there are any additional cost e.g. Uniform T-shirts (coming soon), performance outfits / wardrobe hire or additional rehearsals beyond the extra rehearsal sessions included in the membership as stated, these will be charged separately as appropriate.

WHEN & WHERE?
​
WEDNESDAYS AFTER SCHOOL
​
Group will generally be held on Wednesdays after school starting be between 4pm and 6pm and the start time may vary depending the group your child is placed in.
Venue: Wroughton Parish Hall, Priors Hill, Wroughton, Swindon or Legge House Wroughton as advised by RONNI each term.
​
Weekly classes are generally 55 mins each week with up-to 4 x 2hour rehearsals included in the membership fees for extended rehearsals leading up to performances.

TERMS & FEES
2022/2023 MEMBERSHIP FEES £300 per year. / £100 per term x 3 terms

£100 TERM 1 AUTUMN TERM September to December.
£100 TERM 2 SPRING TERM Jan to Easter.
£100 TERM 3 SUMMER TERM Easter to Summer.

Fees are payable in advance or by the first session of each full term.
Anyone unable to pay a full term amount upfront can contact RONNI to discuss other payment options.
Cancellation of membership requires 1 months notice before the start of a new term please.

To join in the middle of a term, please contact ronni@ronni.co.uk who will be able to let you know the details of availability and when we can welcome your child to a group.
