ABOUT THE SINGING & RECORDING CLUB MUSICAL THEATRE GROUP
In this club you will learn to sing songs as a group with opportunities to sing solo. Our aim is for you to have fun with like minded singers whilst developing your singing & performance skills including singing in harmony where appropriate, building of singing and performing confidence and gaining experience as a studio recording artist. Do you fancy being in a Hamilton recording, Matilda, Mamma Mia, Annie etc. The world of Musical Theatre is exciting and full of character. On top of your weekly fun singing sessions, we will choose an appropriate Musical Theatre song for your group to learn and work on as a group over that term. Once per term, or when the song is ready, we will record you as a group in our recording studios, we aim for this to be approximately once per term with the Studio DR team. Each member will receive a copy of their recording after the recording sessions are complete and your song is mastered.
WHERE, WHEN & HOW MUCH?
The Singing & Recording Club is currently held on Mondays and Tuesdays. Please do however tick all your availability on the options below so that people on the waiting can be considered for any new groups that are formed within the club. The Club is currently run at our recording & rehearsal studios at the bottom of Eastcott Hill in Swindon near to Regents Circus. Member fees costs £10 per week which is payable half termly at the beginning of each half term.
JOINING A GROUP & WAITING LIST
Complete the application form below to join a group. Where there is availability you will be offered a place or you will be put on the waiting list and places will be offered based loosely on age and group interest, subject to availability but as soon as we can. We require a minimum of 5 students per new group set up.
